Decanethiol Self-Assembled Monolayers on Au(111)
Molecular resolution STM height image (U = 2.0 V; I = 0.20 nA) of an annealed decanethiol film on Au(111) showing the bright pin-stripe pairs with the alkyl chains lying flat on the substrate surface.
